“Черная отравительница” Екатерина Медичи

Причины бед живут в детстве, они оставляют свой след в жизни человека навсегда.

Юную 14-летнюю итальянку Екатерину Медичи выдали замуж не по любви — её брак с Генрихом Валуа устроил Папа Римский, чтобы скрепить союз Франции и Флоренции. Возможно, именно это и послужило своеобразным толчком для всей вереницы событий, которые сплелись в нелегкую судьбу “отравительницы” Катерины.

Молодому Генриху невеста не нравилась. Однако сама Катерина со временем по-настоящему влюбилась в принца, хотя и знала, что у него уже есть любовь всей жизни — прекрасная Диана де Пуатье.

Медичи считалась в доме Валуа “второсортной” невестой. Законный муж не обращал на нее внимания, детей у них не было, союз с Францией распадался после смерти действующего Папы. И Медичи фрацузы были готовы вернуть назад в Италию, а брак с Генрихом расторгнуть.

Все изменила внезапная кончина старшего брата Генриха — законного наследника престола огромного государства.

После нее на трон беспрепятственно получил право взойти муж Медичи. Такая логика породила множество слухов о том, что смерть наследника — это своего рода “подарок” жены для любимого мужа. Официальные версии гласят, что дофин умер от простуды, однако многие утверждали, что его отравила Екатерина. Она принесла родственнику стакан с ледяной водой, после чего у дофина появилось роковое недомогание.

Тогда весь гнев во Франции обрушился на Екатерину и Генриха, но пара смогла удержать власть.

При этом супруг все равно не стал больше любить жену – королеву.

Напротив, Екатерину Медичи постоянно обвиняли в бесплодии, а мужа в спальню к королеве буквально загоняли палками ради рождения детей. И однажды чудо произошло – Катерина родила. Помог, по версии историков-современников, лечащий знаменитый врач Нострадамус. В конце концов, фармацевт подобрал нужное лекарственное средство, и Екатерина Медичи родила Франции аж 10 детей, и трое из них стали королями.

Позже муж Генрих случайно был убит копьем на рыцарской дуэли. Екатерина по случаю смерти супруга облачилась навсегда в траур (она действительно тяжело переживала потерю)… и отдалась не любовникам, но интригам.

Ни одного мужчину она себе так и не подпустила близко — власть и благополучие детей для нее стали важнее интимной жизни.

Медичи желала счастливого будущего своим наследникам. Она упорно пыталась выдать дочь Маргариту за Генриха Наваррского и всеми силами завоевывала доверие королевы Жанны. Свадьба, в итоге, состоялось, однако условием королевы Наварры было, что Генрих придержится гугенотской веры. Екатерину Медичи и здесь считают виновницей смерти королевы Наваррской – Жанны д’Альбре, которая скоропостижно умерла от туберкулеза после женитьбы сына.

Есть мнение, что причина – это яд, присутствующий в её надушенных перчатках, он проник в мозг женщины.

Случаи отравлений не редкость для мировой истории. Белыми нитками пошиты дела “невидимого убийцы” – яда. Они коснулись и многих других знаменитых личностей.

Законного наследника Александра IV Македонского тоже отравили ядом.

Император Нерон трижды пытался убить свою мать “смертельным средством”, чтобы остаться единственным римским правителем. После очередного неудачного покушения, Агриппина все-таки была убита в собственных покоях.

Кто знает, если бы в детстве, знаменитые цари и правители получали от родителей больше любви и ласки, мир не сотрясался так часто от “ядовитых” поступков героев прошлых лет.
