Олеся Липина. Как из Ряжска Европу делали

В Ряжске есть усадьба Кикиных. Находится она в деревне Большая Алешня.

С усадьбой связано ряд легенд. Одна гласит, что, мол, в Большой Алешне скрывался от преследования Петра I царевич Алексей. Другая красивая история – с кладом, зарытым в парке усадьбы. Женщина – владелица, покидая перед революцией поместье, все свои драгоценности отдала переплавить в золотую статую кошки. В итоге, где-то среди липовых аллей дама спрятала свои сокровища. С тех пор их там многие ищут. Пока ничего не обнаружили.

 

Усадьба выглядит по-европейски. Видно, что ее собственники хотели жить на рязанских просторах так, как в Англии или Германии. Оставшиеся от архитектурного ансамбля здания и массивные ворота построены в неоготическом стиле с использованием элементов московского барокко.

Благоустройством Алешни в XIX веке активно занимался генерал-майор Петр Кикин. После ухода в отставку в 1826 году здесь он поселился с семьей. Именно ему, кстати, принадлежит идея создания Храма Христа Спасителя в честь героев, павших на войне 1812 года. Кикину удалось возвести великолепный парк, который поразил даже Семенова-Тян-Шанского настолько, что ученый описал его в своей книге по географии России. После смерти Петра Кикина хозяйкой усадьбы стала его дочь Мария. Она была замужем за князем Дмитрием Петровичем Волконским. Это ее свекровь сдавала А.С. Пушкину 11 комнат н по адресу Мойка, 12 в Санкт-Петербурге.

В начале XX века усадьба Алешня была основательно перестроена министром земледелия Алексеем Сергеевичем Ермоловым. При своём имении он устроил конный завод. Между неоготическими особняками до сих пор сохранились ворота в виде триумфальной арки. Отметим, что А.С. Ермолов был выпускником Царскосельского лицея, имел высшую степень образования и обладал широтой взглядов. Ученый и чиновник, он всегда искал новые способы развития России. Именно Ермолов в свое время настоял на создании в Сочи курортных зон и участков. Видимо, то же самое ему хотелось сделать и в Рязанской губернии. По крайней мере, в Большой Алешне было приложено много усилий для создания там каскада прудов, садов, один из которых плодовый, другой – с редкими деревьями из Императорского ботанического сада. Выращивались редкие растения, семена хозяин выписывал из Америки, также поставил метеостанцию.

Сегодня, к сожалению, барского дома уже нет. Его сожгли борцы за советскую власть, парк одичал и гулять в нем страшно. Строения, оставшиеся от дворянской усадьбы, в которой жили знаменитые люди, принесшие в XIX веке стране славу, превратились в руины. Конечно, усадьбу – драгоценность Рязанского края надо сберечь и работать над ее восстановлением.
